Great urban interventions are always impacting to the daily life of the contemporary city. In case of Rio de Janeiro, which has long suffered from a shortage of urban interventions in a systemic scale, has in the current situation due to commitments assumed prior major sporting events an opportunity to improve the most outdated infrastructure compared to cities in development countries and also one that has a major influence to its inhabitants - transportation. Mobility and accessibility are confused semantically but its action in society, through full access to the entire network of transportation and people travelling to all relevant points of the city became the premise to the implementation of road corridors.
