Through interviews we were able to identify activities that helped in the classification of musical education. Interviews were conducted with students from the Villa-Lobos Institute with the objective of determining the number of students who began their musical studies in Evangelical Churches and who have continued them in other institutions. This work reveals that the function of Evangelical Churches in musical education is considered very significant today.
