Presented by the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro, the study A memória histórica de Getúlio Vargas e o Palácio do Catete, (The historical memory of Getúlio Vargas and Catete Palace), by Celso Pereira de Sá, Ricardo Vieiralves de Castro, Renato Cesar Möller and Juliana Aieta Perez, deals with the historical memory of Getúlio Vargas (1883 - 1954), who governed Brazil from 1930 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1954, and his close association to Catete Palace, the Republic Presidency's seat during this period.   arrow-back      arrow-forward
