at a glance

during the summer months (november through february), praia vermelha is ideal to enjoy the sunrise - we posted some pictures of a sunrise at praia vermelha here.

the beach is surrounded by palm trees creating a pleasant space where to enjoy some shade - there are no kiosks, just a few vendors selling basic snacks. 

the beach is ideal for families, as it is somehow secluded and sheltered, however there are no lifeguards on duty, so special attention is always recommended to groups with small children.
