Oysters are opened in front of the customer, who can either sup them down right away, or take them to the beach to enjoy alongside a cold beer and ocean breeze. Customers can also select fish from the counter-top and have them prepared and cooked before their eyes - drizzled with a lemon marinade and grilled to perfection, these fresh delicacies are a well-loved culinary custom amongst locals. Fishermen also supply to a wide array of restaurants in the local area, which benefit from the breadth and diversity of their supply. Wooden canoes, powered by a small motor, are used to catch the fish, and later flipped over on the beach to form makeshift tables for customers. | alto leblon | |||
