as far as carioca pizza goes,  perhaps the best and most historic restaurant is pizzaria guanabara, offering a wide variety, they have their take on pizza ŕ calabresa, adding tuna, sardines, or even shrimps.

this restaurant is a famous meeting point open until sunrise and  a favorite of hip crowds, families, and artists alike - there are also other items on the menu such as paella, pastas and a saturday special of feijoada.
