Brazil and panama are jointly involved in the forum for cooperation between east asia and latin-america, fealac, which looks to promote understanding between the two global areas - in 2013 Brazil sent its foreign minister to the ibero-american summit held in panama to discuss initiatives for upholding human rights, discussing social standards and international policies.
