one popular beach-side hike starts at leblon beach, at posto 12, and curves past ipanema beach getting to end in leme beach, east of copacabana and somewhat less crowded than the other beaches.
in addition to the sandy beaches, a variety of famous landmarks can be enjoyed along this walk - from the stunning dois irmăos mountain very close to leblon, to the pedra de arpoador, the copacabana fort, and the morro do leme, the final point of the route - not to mention the cagarras islands visible throughout the journey from a variety of angles.
