Rio's north zone is home to the greatest number of cariocas in town and also home to a great part of the Tijuca Forest, which contains multiple beautiful rock walls with routes for people of all skill levels to overcome the challenges presented by nature while allowing themselves to be embraced by it inhaling the pure air of the forest.

Pico da Tijuca and Pico do Papagaio are two mountains that can be accessed by hiking and climbing so everyone can participate on the ascent - and for those who favor climbing, a variety of difficulty levels is available for each individual to pick and choose according to their own ability.

Other two famous climbing spots in the Tijuca Forest area are the Vista Chinesa and Pedra do Conde both engulfed in historical meaning and exhuberant nature to go along with the climb.
