just passing
praia da freguesia (praia da guanabara) and the ponta do quilombo (cape of
quilombo) leads to a small,
quite charming beach.
called praia da moça (beach of the girl), this
beach is no longer accessible to the general public without a special permit, as
it was declared
navy area back in 1946.
bordering this beach is a the
pedra da onça
(rock of the jaguar), named in honor of the statue of a jaguar that was placed
on it decades ago.
