along with praia do golfinho and praia brava, praia do alentejo (beach of the small community) is located inside a brazilian navy area, and access is possible only via special permit. this is a particularly beautiful beach, with pristine white sands and rich vegetation behind it. part of the beautiful vies of this beach is the island of ilha seca, that appears particularly well defined against the bridge rio - niterói, crossing the bay.
