due to its size the beach can only accommodate a limited number of people, however, most locals and travelers arrive to simple leap off the jetty, which is great fun.

other than one small food stand, there is not much in the name of restaurants or kiosks along praia de cocotá - so those who journey here will need to bring their own food and drinks, just in case there is not someone walking up and down with a box of beers or ice-creams.

there's no doubt this beach is tranquil and certainly not somewhere to come for a big party, but this works to its advantage because the atmosphere is brilliantly relaxed.
