this praia, one of the cleanest in the area, offers a beautiful view of the bay and serra de órgaos. praia do dendé is located in the neighborhood of moneró, a middle class, mainly residential neighborhood considered by many one of the best and upcoming neighborhoods in rio based on its infrastructure and development. the sports corridor that runs along praia do dendê, on avenida de magistério, was created in 1980, it may be one of the most vanguard biking projects in all of brazil.
