at a glance | appropriately, The date for this fun march is the Day of the Dead, and the hundreds of people which join together on this occasion are summoned through social networks, where, after the event, they post and upload pictures, videos and even short films created with the scenes and inspiration gathered in the walk along Avenida Atlântica. The rules are simple, participants must come dressed as zombies - everything else depends on the imagination and creativity of the 'un-dead', which, at times, achieves amazing quality in their real-looking disguises. Families, couples, friends and lone walkers are seen enjoying the sun in this globally celebrated event, which has now 'contagied' many other cities in Latin America, and it is a great chance to make new friends. |
