the festival was born in brazil and has taken place in the cities of rio de janeiro, lisbon, and madrid since its birth in 1985. 

During the third and fourth weekends in october, jardim botânico, one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, at the feet christ the redeemer on corcovado, transforms into an open sky art gallery - The Circuito das Artes do jardim botânico is the perfect chance to visit more than 50 ateliers that open their doors and allow more than 90 artists and creative producers to show their work.

This circuit covers several blocks and there is a trolley that takes visitors around the workshops and galleries, to enjoy all the sculptures, paintings, photography, jewelry and fashion design that fill these streets.
