For one weekend in the month of may, this Fest brings several activities related to the cultural life of the city - tributes to Brazilian singers such as Jamelão, Vinícius de Moraes and Rubem Braga, painting workshops, and even knitting classes, directed by experts in their respective fields.

Concerts by famous groups such as the the Orchestra Tabajara and even an opportunity to learn to waltz are some of the pluses that visitors can enjoy by being part of this fest. 

Whether it's reading to children, singing in a park with a live band circled with enthusiasts, enjoying verses of famous poems, or being part of debates this fest gives Rio de Janeiro the opportunity to observe and celebrate their own literary personality.
