In the life-long debate of the origin and objective of artistic creativity, the sensibility and the intellectual wealth that reading offers is often debated - analyzed in how it can help people to connect and stimulate their ability to cope with social and cultural differences, as well as to develop noble attitudes towards their equals, is  what the Centro Educacional Anísio Teixeira - CEAT pursues.  

june is also the month for the cinesul, the festival ibero-american de cinema e video where over 200 productions by brazilian, argentinean, spanish and other latin-american filmmakers are shown. 

cinesul gathers long and short films and documentaries about the realities of the continents as united by a common history.
