at a glance
It brings together logos which refer to or use symbols of the city, including Sugar Loaf mountain, Christ the Redeemer, the Copacabana beach boardwalk, Maracană stadium, Quinta da Boa Vista, the Guanabara Bay and the Botanical Gardens - The logos must contain one of these symbols and either the word Carioca, or Rio.

The exhibited logos were developed for a wide variety of different purposes, including company, product and events branding.

This publication memorialize these designs and allows readers to appreciate their chronological development, and how the art of logo creation has evolved and developed alongside the city itself since its foundation -  It is the first work of its kind to collect logos produced for a wide array of customers, services and designers, united by a single theme.

Logos Carioca da Gema (Logos 'born in rio de janeiro') is available via livraria galileu on this link, or via livraria da travessa here.    arrow-back      arrow-forward
