nevertheless when a menacing gang war breaks out between the chief drug lord in their community madrugadao (wallace's cousin) and his rival nefasto, we dishearteningly see swarms of underage children roaming the streets armed with guns.

regrettably ace and wallace find themselves trapped the middle of the war and on opposite sides, resulting in their friendship reaching a standstill - in a world where sons raise themselves without adequate role models, we see ace and wallace continue some of the bleak pattern of their fathers.
