During the circuit, residents and visitors taste authentic dishes, following a pre-defined route through communities -   Exquisite and inventive past dishes have included mussel risotto, harumaki of feijoada, prawn pasta and bamboo pastries, enjoyed alongside a community craft fair.

One of the requirements of participation is that meals showcased are 'carioca cooking from scratch', and are created and produced in the communities themselves.

The first event took place in November of 2014, and the second in September of 2015 - In the run up the Instituto Pereira Passos - IPP (Pareira Passos Institute) ran training courses for all participants and Sebrae offered consultations to businessman working in the gastronomic sector.   arrow-back      arrow-forward
