from rio de janeiro, one of such artists is rodrigo (tito) falaschi -  starting with the symbols in 1998 he would eventually become one of the most prolific musicians within the genre, playing instruments and serving as vocalist for several bands. one of his most famous participations was for the super project soulspell, a metal opera which saw the participation of some of the greatest artists in the genre, from brazil and the world. rio de janeiro itself is no stranger to metal, seeing as in 1985 the well-know festival rock in rio had the participation of several of the most recognized bands of the time - since then the city has hosted many metal-themed festivals and concerts, showing that the genre is earning a wider acceptance, with rock in rio itself is conceding more days to it, in a clear expression of this trend.
