This inquiry was a result of ruminations and readings on subjects that relate to urbanism and the city, recognizing the citizen as an articulator of their environment, as it is the place where they teach and learn. the focus of the study is a representative social group from the favela quarter of Catacumba in Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and consider its current localization in relation to the Quitungo habitational set in Brás de Pina -RJ.
