at a glance

A stone's throw from the crossroads is Praça Granito, or 'Granite Square', which features Ravi's Lanches, or 'Ravi's Snack Bar', as well as Praça Sebastião Gerolimich, 'Sebastião Gerolimich Square', which hosts the neighborhood's water tower. Both of these parks are coated in lush greenery and trees, as are most of the streets in Parque Anchieta.

To the west of the urbanized area of the district is Morro do Periquito, or 'Parakeet Hill', which looms over a rich and undeveloped green expanse, on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. arrow-back      arrow-forward
