The hastily-constructed residences mostly line two avenues. To the north is Rua Dique, which translates as 'Dike Street', and more to the south, dividing the community and Jardim América, is Avenida Renascer, or 'Revive Avenue'.

Although commonly thought of as part of the Jardim América neighborhood, the community actually extends beyond, out into the nearby Vigário Geral neighborhood, all the way to the water treatment station on the eastern side. Towards its central point, the community extends some distance away from the river, reaching the Furquim Mendes community located in the center of Vigário Geral.
