at a glance
New Zealand and Brazil have international relations since 1964, but only in 1997 Brazil opened an embassy in Wellington, which was reciprocated by New Zealand in 2001 - From the turn of the XXI century on, the two countries created a mechanism of bilateral cooperation and political consultation which resulted in several economic, cultural and political deals being formed.

In 2013, the visit of New Zealand's prime minister helped different aspects of the bilateral relation to advance, developing especially the areas of sports, tourism, education, agriculture, commerce and direct investments - From this meeting also came the deal on aerial services which made the connection of both countries faster with less stops, and more frequent flights. arrow-back      arrow-forward
