before reaching the cachoeira do camorim, in the parque estadual pedra branca (white rock stae park), there is an option to hike along a four-kilometre trail spoiled with interesting sites. the walk begins at cedae water treatment plant and there are stunning views of the dam (located 436 meters above sea-level -higher than sugar loaf mountain) - many stones left over from the construction of the dam lie scattered along the trail, and they are covered in layers of slippery moss and greenery -they have become part of the forest.
