in fact, there are many fishermen in the area, as well as boat builders that provide an extremely interesting and picturesque aspect of this beach.  

while the first part of the beach is usually reserved to people relaxing, meeting friends and enjoying the views, the eastern part of the beach, along the shaded area, is where many boat builders get to work.

many of the fishermen based on this island take their small boats here for service and repair, or even just to get painted.
