shaped at an angle, praia do engenhoca spans about 360 meters, and has beach areas, in the open spaces of sand between the numerous palm trees. there are also two kiosks for food, but there are not other beach structures for sports or leisure, or lifeguards on duty. yet, this beach is one of the stretches of coast along ilha do governador with the most character.
