a few wooden huts can be seen scattered along the stretch, as well as numerous, picturesque sailing boats bobbing up and down in the bay. one of praia de cocotá's mains qualities is the beach's relative solitude, compared to a number of other spots on ilha do governador. the sand curves all the way around the north face of the bay and stretches for another 60 meters or so.
