Rio holds the third largest port and shipping district in the country, and huge investments are underway for its renewal and expansion - understandably therefore Rio is also home to the annual, international Navalshore fair. In step with its reputation, a significant swathe of Rio's population is highly concerned with fitness and body image - runners and sport enthusiasts fill the parks and beaches of the city, supplement shops pervade commercial districts and glamorous clothes are paraded down avenues. It is no wonder, therefore, that Rio hosts an annual fair for vitamin and protein products, as well as for sports attire and equipment. |
