Circuses have been and are still part of carioca culture - so much that we have dedicated a whole section to it. Rio is also home to the most important circus festival in Latin America, the Festival de Circo, Which held presentations in Pacified favelas, and beyond that, lit the flame of passion for the magic of circus in the eyes of people that didn't have easy access to a circus presentation before.
