In his photography he manages to capture Rio's exuberance, with its rocky peaks, curvaceous coastline, unique landscapes and majestic bay - The great work is divided into four different visual themes: Nuvens (Clouds), depicts the city from amidst its ethereal padding - Terra (Earth), opens with a lovely poem, and depicts the mountains, coast and waters;  Cotidiano (Everyday), documents the day to day occurrences and eccentricities of the city's inhabitants, including traffic accidents and houses on fire; Luzes (Lights), exhibits the sky, cityscape, and edifices bathed in multifarious light and colors.

water's memories (Memórias da água) is a visual presentation of Rio de Janeiro from an aquatic perspective -  The book, clocking in at just over 140 pages, was published in 2014 and is the work of French photographer Benoit Fournier.
