Ação Comunitária Pró - Favela DR. Marcelo Candia (Community Action Pro-Favela DR. marcelo candia) is a community project located in the Morro do Borel favela, on the outskirts of Andaraí - The institution runs family centers, including two community crèches, open to children and adolescents.

It contains a unit which offers adult education courses as well as supplementary primary and secondary education, and English and Spanish classes. Women meet to produce crafts, and workshops are held to support families generate income.
