The Gastronômico Sebrae na Mesa em Comunidades (Sebrae Gastronomic Circuit at the Table of Communities) propels restaurants, culinary establishments and cooks from Rio's favelas to the forefront of the city's conscience and pallet.

The restaurants and eateries included in the festival come from ten favelas -  providênciaand Morro do Pinto, santa marta, tabajaras & cabrito, chapéu mangueira, babilônia, rocinha, and vidigal, all of which have been pacified.

During the circuit, residents and visitors taste authentic dishes, following a pre-defined route through communities -   Exquisite and inventive past dishes have included mussel risotto, harumaki of feijoada, prawn pasta and bamboo pastries, enjoyed alongside a community craft fair.
