The  study considers some essential ways to define and develop Affonso Eduardo Reidy's architectural project, called Conjunto Pedregulho. First of all, it focuses on some thematic compositions, whose genesis is linked to the relationship between the natural environment and the artificial cultural object.

The objective is to demonstrate the importance of contextual architecture and how it triggers and organizes the design process. It then presents the most representative typologies of architecture, which were used by the architect as a model to develop the project.
