sunrises are known to be beautiful from this angle, also due to the adjacent arpoador's rock which in itself is one of the best mirantes in rio that, positioned differently is best at sunset.   

almost empty during the week, praia do diabo gets crowded during weekends and holidays - many use this corner to relax and occasionally soldiers from the fort exercise there very early in the morning.
