at a glance

the island is known to be occupied at the early 18th century. at the time there was a small chapel within it, which was eventually converted in the current local church.

the local population also engaged in the sort economic activities available, it is even known that a slaughterhouse existed there, as well as some herds.

even so it would be through the naval industry that the island became known.
