To this end, four roads are being constructed to facilitate the circulation of people and goods through the city. The construction of these expressways is financed for the most part by the federal government through PAC (Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento) by Mobilidade Urbana and the rest of the investment is made by the Municipal Government of the city. The expressways in question are: Transoeste, Transcarioca, Transolímpica and TranBrasil.
