Our research is focused on the unique transformations which are occurring and which are yet to occur with greater intensity, in the neighborhood of Deodora and its surroundings as a result of the construction of Transolímpica and TranBrasil. It can be observed that the neighborhood of Deodoro, point of both the express corridor of Transbrasil and the Transolímpico, will be doubly affected by these infrastructural interventions which are being conducted to enable more rapid transport during the Olympics of 2016.
