Among the examples cited in this study, three of them were considered paradigmatic in their engagement with political thought, social questions, economic determination, architectural language and urban solutions appropriate to that moment. The second paradigmatic example was the Residential Center President Getúlio Vargas, created by architect Flávio Marinho Rego. The Center is an important example of vanguard tendencies in that period, in the architectural concepts it exhibits and its engagement with urbanization, in its capacity (1314 units), and its complexity. The building of 1953/1954, was limited to essential functions and a small area.
