Presented by the  Fundação Getulio Vargas, the study Clube de espectadores: A relação entre cultura e cidadania - Spectators' club: The relationship between culture and citizenship, by Viviane da Soledade Tôrres, examines the project for the systematization of the public and the improved accessibility of art and culture: Clube de Espectadores (Spectators' Club), created by Espaço Cultural Escola Sesc, located in the Escola Sesc de Ensino Médio em Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro. here, the motives for the structuring of the Spectators' Club project are analyzed, as well as the reach of its principles, and the strategies for obtaining its objectives in the course of its existence. The main source of reflection, aside from my own experience as a programmer and producer of this space, are the interviews undertaken with the members of the Spectators' Club, frequenters of the Espaço Cultural Escola Sesc, teachers and students of the public network of education, and also students of the Escola Sesc, who do not frequent the space in question.
