at a glance

jardim novo horizonte is located in the middle of bairro adriana and is composed by several individual houses, with a green park in its center. it is shaped more or less like a triangle, with the jorge ferreira tomás street covering the western and southern sides and the ari lobo street covering the eastern side - this street begins in the joão vitta lobo praça, located in the eastern edge of the bairro. the praça is a wide green area with trees and a sports field.

the residential nature of jardim novo horizonte means that it has little local commerce, however, it is located in close proximity to the massive west shopping rio -  the large mall comprises one of the core commercial elements of the whole region and it gives a great value and choice to nearby residential areas like the jardim.

this smaller part of bairro adriana also holds two schools: the municipal school alzira araújo, and the application college ferreira de almeida. the woodland of the posse hill is also accessible, with a few trails running among the trees, popular with natuer lovers and hikers.
