Presented by the  Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, the study Quando a fábrica cria o clube: O processo de organização do Bangu Athletic Club (1910) - When a factory creates a club: The process of the organization of Bangu Athletic Club (1910), by Nei Jorge dos Santos Junior, aims to understand the process of organizing the Bangu Athletic Club and its progressive and dependent relationship with the Company Industrial Progress of Brazil. firstly, we highlight the importance of the factory in nthe building and structuring of the neighborhood of Bangu. Subsequently, the effort focuses on the dependent relationship between the factory and club, not only restructuring its geographical aspect, but especially in the reconfiguration in leisure time.
