Presented by the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, the study Uma análise narratológica do universo audiovisual 'Cidade de Deus' - A narratological analysis of the 'Cidade de Deus' (City of God) audiovisual universe, by Leandro Vieira Maciel, aims to address the narrative of audiovisual products that configure, as a whole, a narrative universe. Audiovisual products that will be addressed are: 'City of God' (O2 Filmes, 2002), feature-length film directed by Fernando Meirelles, written by Bráulio Mantovani, from Paulo Lins´ book; 'Palace II', short film for TV as a part of the series 'Brava Gente Brasileira', directed by F. Meirelles and written by B. Mantovani (TV Globo, 2002); and the series 'City of Men', with several directors and writers (TV Globo, from 2002 to 2005), and feature-length 'City of Men,' film directed by Paulo Morelli and written by Elena Soarez (O2 Filmes, 2007), as a crossover from the series.
